Jesse White is a practical, moderate steward running to keep our water dependable, our rates fair, and our district accountable to ratepayers, not politics.
Dependable supply and well-maintained infrastructure, ready for dry years and fire seasons.
Fund what matters, cut what does not, and protect seniors and family farms from unnecessary increases.
Transparent budgeting, real public input, and decisions made on the merits for Division 1.
My family has called Nevada County home for four generations. My seven children are proud fourth-generation residents, and my wife Katherine and I, married for 21 years, are committed to protecting the water, resources, and quality of life they will inherit.
As Chief Pilot at Pacific Jet Charter and a certified flight instructor, I have built my career on safety, discipline, and accountability, where every decision must be measured, transparent, and right the first time. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics with a minor in Aviation Safety.
I have run several businesses in the automotive, recycling, and property management industries, in addition to flight instructing. I understand budgets, infrastructure, resource management, and the real cost of rising rates on working families and local agriculture.
On the NID Board, I will fight for fiscal responsibility, honest management, and protecting ratepayers from unnecessary rate increases. I am equally committed to protecting NID's reservoirs, treated and untreated water, hydroelectric power, and recreation for future generations.
As a 4-H adult volunteer leader, service to this community is already part of who I am. I respectfully ask for your vote so we can restore trust, accountability, and value to the Nevada Irrigation District.
Local water governance should not divide on party lines. These are the priorities Jesse will bring to the board.
Keep rates fair and transparent, fund real needs, and protect seniors, fixed-income households, and family farms from unnecessary increases.
Plan responsibly for dependable water year-round, for homes and agriculture, through wet years and dry ones.
Maintain canals, pipelines, reservoirs, and the hydroelectric system with steady, competent stewardship.
Protect watershed health and keep dependable water available for dry seasons and firefighting.
Open budgeting, clear communication, and genuine public input to restore trust and accountability at the district.
Protect NID's reservoirs, treated and untreated water, hydroelectric power, and recreation for future generations.
Jesse would love to hear from Division 1 residents. Reach out with a question, an idea, or just to talk about our water district.
